State-by-state resources
This page is the beginning of a national effort to organize families, document systemic patterns, and build the record needed for federal civil-rights intervention. We are starting in Washington and will expand to additional states as quickly as we can gather reliable information and partner with local advocates.
Our goal is to give people a clear place to begin. Here you will find:
- Basic state-specific resources
- Public contact information for legislators and oversight bodies
- News and updates relevant to family-court reform
- Judicial and committee information
- Opportunities to participate in transparency efforts such as court watch
We are also developing standardized complaint forms that families will be able to use to report constitutional concerns in a consistent, structured way. As these tools are completed, they will be added here.
This is a growing project. As more states join the movement for constitutional accountability in family court, we will continue expanding these resources so that families have access to information, a path to be heard, and a role in documenting the systemic civil-rights violations occurring across the country.
